QEW - Travel Series
2025-26

All That You Can Do

The QEW Travel Series is built around three core experiences: the Developmental Component, the CERN & Dark Sky Visit, and the Swiss Tour. Each of these experiences offers a unique journey of learning, exploration, and personal growth. Participants may choose to engage in any one of these experiences individually or combine them for a richer, more immersive adventure, as detailed in the next section.

CompeTency Development

Build cognitive, emotional, and behavioral skills that empower young learners to think, feel, and act with confidence.

CERN & Dark Skies

Witness cutting-edge science at CERN and marvel at the cosmos during a guided dark sky experience.

Swiss Tour

After the CERN visit, extend your journey with a thoughtfully planned Swiss tour—either return independently or join curated travel experiences with our partners.

Pricing

  1. Registering for the program

    1. Registration is mandatory for all participants, regardless of the program chosen. The fee is ₹4,800 + GST, covering the administrative costs of organizing a high-quality program.

    2. CERN mandates that children who have not yet completed 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (parent or guardian).

    3. Registration is required for both students and parents (if parents visit CERN along with their ward), while assessments apply only to students and are free of charge.

  2. Competency Development

    1. The best approach in designing a student’s competency development plan is to focus on 3 to 4 competencies that are most relevant to their individual learning needs. These competencies are determined through assessments and discussions with the student and their parents.

    2. The developmental work is conducted in cognitive labs that are booked specifically for the program. Learning takes place through a blend of online sessions, in-person interactions, group work, research projects, home assignments, media-based activities, real data participation, and mentoring sessions.

    3. Each competency is covered over approximately 18 hours of development, including at least 6 hours of in-person, mentoring, or interactive sessions.

      • (Approximate total cost per competency: 15,000/- INR + GST)

  3. CERN Participation

    1. This cost is paid directly to AscendPsychology and applies equally to both parents and students participating in the CERN visit.

    2. The CERN & Dark Sky participation includes:

    • Entry to CERN is free, and the CERN participation fee covers logistics and arrangements related to the CERN visit.

    • Travel-related expenses — including flights, accommodation, and local logistics — may vary depending on the cohort you select, as prices fluctuate with seasons and availability.

    • All costs related to travel and stay mentioned above are approximate ballpark figures, intended to help you make informed decisions.
