Competency development is about building the skills and abilities that allow a person to think clearly, manage emotions effectively, and act in ways that achieve goals. These competencies are generally divided into three broad categories: cognitive, emotional, and behavioral.
1. Cognitive Competencies

2. Emotional Competencies
Emotional competencies are the skills that help individuals understand, manage, and express their own emotions, as well as recognize and respond to the emotions of others. These skills support healthy relationships and personal well-being.

3. Behavioral Competencies
Behavioral competencies are the abilities to take actions and exhibit behaviors that effectively contribute to achieving goals. They involve how a person interacts with others, manages tasks, and demonstrates personal qualities like persistence and responsibility.
